I hope all this waiting works out for you as well. The funny thing is, when I was originally posting to your blog I thought you would think 'what a big family' cause we have six boys and are hoping for three more children to join us through adoption. How funny!! YOU have a big family!! I shall enjoy following your blogs!

Blessings, JustineIs Eight Enough?https://www.blogger.com/profile/17107921111882348777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7044548886466850388.post-23483751132710642952008-03-15T12:55:00.000-07:002008-03-15T12:55:00.000-07:00Hi Christine,You visited my blog, so I now I can s...Hi Christine,

You visited my blog, so I now I can see where you are adopting from. When I saw your picture I knew I knew you! Sure enough, Tami is on your blog roll. She is one of my blog friends. We are adopting from Ethiopia. We are adopting two girls and possibly one boy. We have six boys of our own -from 3-16.

I will now follow your blog! I loved following Tami's. Ukraine adoptions are so different from Ethiopian ones!

Blessings, Justine
http://sixboysandalittlelady.blogspot.comIs Eight Enough?https://www.blogger.com/profile/17107921111882348777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7044548886466850388.post-74356399458921186042008-03-15T12:27:00.000-07:002008-03-15T12:27:00.000-07:00The thing I had to keep reminding myself during ou...The thing I had to keep reminding myself during our whole trip (and you know what an ordeal THAT was) was that the SDA wasn't in control, the facilitators weren't in control, our translator wasn't in control and we CERTAINLY weren't in control of what was going on around us.
God was.
And He is...
And He will continue to be.
None of it was in our own timing. None of it was under our control. But there was a lot of comfort in the fact that there was a purpose and a plan for every experience we went through.
No matter what happens on your trip, God is right there with you. In control of the whole situation. Open your heart to whatever He has planned for you and then buckle up and grab your Pepto! It's going to be a GREAT ride!Tamihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06381915866366125201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7044548886466850388.post-64487151217068308692008-03-15T12:25:00.000-07:002008-03-15T12:25:00.000-07:00You are right this process is a miracle.JoyYou are right this process is a miracle.
JoyJoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01805176756564873707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7044548886466850388.post-68910685459438258692008-03-14T20:16:00.000-07:002008-03-14T20:16:00.000-07:00That's a very positive way to think about it. The waiting is definitely the hardest part. However, despite all the uncertainty and lack of control during our adoption, it was comforting to know that my children were out there somewhere, waiting for us too.Jennihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01411980588192653910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7044548886466850388.post-35578905429382231082008-03-14T15:48:00.000-07:002008-03-14T15:48:00.000-07:00It's sort of like listening to pregnant woman gene...It's sort of like listening to pregnant woman generalize about their condition. Everyone is different. Every child is different and every experience in adding that child to your family is different - whether it's bio or not. Have fun with it.
