Anxious

Waiting. Waiting. Waiting is so very hard. It takes a great deal of patience. I'm a get er' done kind of girl, so when something is put in the hands of another person, it is hard to not expect them to just get er' done too!

Of course, I am talking about our dossier. Don't get me wrong, I know it is in good hands, but just like any family waiting to adopt, I want to know every detail and why things can't be done ten times faster than the rate they are getting done.

And then before I know it, he will be here, and our adoption will be a thing of the past. And there will be no more waiting because he will be here.

Waiting is rough - no doubt about it. I hope your whirlwind arrives soon! And, that your son is soon to follow.

Hang in there.

I DON'T LIKE TO WAIT EITHER, I LIKE TO GET THINGS DONE. IN FAST SPEED, NOT SLOW MOTION. BUT IS OUT OF OUR HANDS. HOW OLD IS YOUR SON YOU ARE ADOPTING. IS HE SPECIAL NEEDS? ALSO DID YOU GET PRICES ON PLANE TICKETS? JODY

Oh, I can so relate. I just keep telling myself that when the time is right, we will move forward. Our children are there, but they may not be ready for us yet; so we wait.

Hurry-up and wait is the game; it's just so frustrating :(.

I soon will be having to deal with this, too. I know it's hard to put something in someone else's hands. But you will be there before you know it (easier said than done, I know) holding your precious son in your arms. I can't wait for the day for you to meet him. :o)I am so happy for you and I am praying for you.

It seems through this whole process we are waiting for one thing or another. I don't have a lot of patience, I feel if these people are doing this work daily, can't they pick up the pace, just a little bit. I realize I don't have any conrol over it and need to let it go but that is hard. Hoping you hear some good news soon.

Hello fellow Type "A" person! :-) I know EXACTLY how you feel! When we found out we weren't registered today my immediate thought was "if I had my dossier it would have been done being notarized!" :-) It's hard being a get'r done kind of person! :-) I hope whoever has your dossier is doing what they are supposed to be! Good luck with the wait.. this is truely the hard part!

It is nice to hear that even you get anxious waiting to hear news. It is good to know that even though you have been there/done that, the wait is still hard (makes those of us going through it for the first time realize that our emotions are perfectly normal). I guess God gives us the desires of our heart, so it is hard to wait on a child which you make part of your family from the beginning.

God bless you as you wait!

Oh, I can relate! It was so hard waiting last year... But as you said, before you know it, your adoption will be in the past. Hang on there!
