Dennis is Walking!

It really amazes me how much Dennis has progressed developmentally, physically, and emotionally since he has come home just 11 short days ago. Honestly, I expected him to take longer to catch up, and I was hoping that I would get to have a baby for at least a little while longer---- but alas that is not the case at all. I have a full fledged toddler!

He is just too cute. He looks very stable, too, considering he just started walking! I`m impressed.

Also, LOVE the fact that he was completely and utterly unphased by his big brother sweeping him across the room like that . . . just carried on like nothing had happened. lol. You can tell he`s already used to his big, happy family!

DENNIS IS WALKING?

at first i thought it was me trying to read at 5am (d.c. time), but after viewing the video, i am convinced what i thought i was reading is true!

it's so hard to believe that at month ago he was in an orphanage and now is a part of your family and catching up so quickly.

you are all blessed.

He doesn't appear at all overwhelmed or overstimulated. I think maybe he has always dreamed of this day!

Oh my gosh! I agree, clearly Dennis has been just WAITING for someone to give him the opportunity to develop! I'm amazed that he's walking already. The world has been waiting to welcome Dennis into it, and here he is!

Amazing, isn't it???

We had a very similar experience with Jameson. He was barely walking when we brought him home. Now he is running!!

we have to be adults for so long, I have always wished the baby part would last a bit longer. Sham on you all for giving him so much love he is developing so fast. hehe. great job.

It brings tears to my eyes to see how he is flourishing in your loving home. With all the attention though, I am suprised his feet ever touched the ground long enough to learn to walk! ;)

Thank you so much for sharing these precious first steps on what promises to be a wonderful journey of exploration, learning, thriving, and life, thanks to Dennis's own determination, and your family's provision of opportunity...and love.

Most of all, love.
