20 months old

Dennis is 20 months old today. I wonder how his day is going? I'm sending out prayers to all of our children waiting in orphanages for us to bring them home. I wonder if he will be home in time to celebrate his 2nd birthday with us.

Also, thank you to the wonderful and giving person who sent a check in the mail to help with Dennis' adoption. I am humbled at your desire to share in the blessing of bringing him home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. At a time when I am admittedly filled with some doubt and disappointment that nothing has happened with our adoption, God comes through and uses one of his people to lift my spirits and reaffirm what we are doing, just when I need it most. God bless you.

Oh, I really hope he's home for his 2nd bday. Nicholas is 17 months old on Monday. Missing our boys.

I feel the same way - I wonder what our twins are doing right now. Tomorrow they will turn 4 years old and I'm sad to not share it with them. :o( Thank goodness for prayers! I hope & pray that Dennis is doing well and that he will be with you soon. :o)

Oh the waiting. The weekends are the worst because we know nothing is happening. I pray that you will hear very soon about your dossier.

We all understand! My twins turned three Thursday and we are still exactly where we were nine months ago!! Why can't they do what is best for the children--get them home to loving families!!!

thanks for your encouragement. you are an amazing mommy and your lil one can't wait to come home! i deleted my last message b/c i'm not ready to share deeper right now...this feels too impersonal, i guess and i don't want friends to find out this way. i want to stay in touch. God's blessing for you and your family! Thanks for all your love!

Praise the Lord for the money that was sent. I know exactly how it feels to be discouraged and get that reminder and encouragement. Thank you, Lord, for lifting Christine's spirits. :)

I can't wait for the post that you have your appointment! I keep checking for it. :)

Yes, Dennis belongs in that picture in your previous post! Soon, mama, he will be there. :)
