I am almost six months along. I have only gained 10 pounds so far (pretty good, huh?) I crave anything chocolate. We are having a boy!
I hope God remembers that I am a human, not an elephant. :)
How far along are you?

I get the incredible joy of telling you that we are THERE!! We received a referral for two beautiful little girls: Gadise and Mesay - ages 3 1/2 and 4 1/2. Pop over to my blog and read all about it. It starts at the post called HALLELUJAH!
Can't wait to hear you are getting your little Dennis!!
Blessings,
Justine

We've been at this for over a year now; not really sure where the time has gone. We're hoping to get a June or July travel time but no word yet.
Any word on your dossier? Do you have a spot in line or will they consider an exception for you?
Check our blog - we have a date!

We're right at 11 weeks and our dossier is on its way!
We applied in Oct 06, picked our children Jan 07, turned in our completed dossier May 07, went into ibesr Aug 07 and there we sit. Even after ibesr approval it can be 12-18 months more!!
Come on, Christine, you didn't gain 10 pounds, did you?
Our "pregnancy" was about 14 months long, and "delivery" took about 5 weeks (from the time we came to Ukraine to the time our plane touched ground in JFK excluding 4 weeks in between trips).
And I've got a postpartum blues as well :)
Hi there! I have some questions for you - if you could email me at jilldpierce at yahoo dot com
Thanks!
10 pounds in 6 months - that's fantastic!! Ha!!! Don't you love being paper pregnant?! Hoping you get word soon.
I guess I am 12 months pregnant! We started our process in April of 2007:) I think I have gained about 15 pounds through all of this.
Well, we are 4 months post-adoption and I've gained 10 pounds! I'm sure the holidays and all the birthday parties have helped with the weight gain. No postpartum blues, but the weight gain is ferocious. :-)

It's late and I'm tired, I know this because it took me quite a while to figure this one out!! lol
TOO CUTE! It is a lot like being pregnant though isn't it?
When my daughter was 2.5 I was pregnant with my second child. When I asked her what she wanted she would always say... "I don't care mommy. I just hope it's an elephant." So funny. Well, 10 years later whe started an international adoption. It did take over two years. I told my daughter she finally got her elephant! He was worth the wait!
I don't know if I told you that all of my adopted children took 9 months. People asked me how I could wait and I realized that it seemed NATURAL (for some reason).
I guess we're almost 14 months along. And I've gained at least 10 lbs (I'm not getting on the scale any more)!
