We leave on John's birthday!

I've booked our flights! We will be riding Delta, Aeroflot, and Co Donbassaero. Definitely a leap of faith I feel at this point. God, please get us there in one piece! Did I mention that I am afraid of flying?

Having the tickets bought is SO exciting!!! It is real. I am SO happy for you!!! Just bring an eye mask, ear plugs and Tylenol PM, you'll be fine! =-)

sounds very exciting. it's a long flight but God will give you peace and calmness not only as you fly but when you can hold your son.

I hate flying, too! Just take along a good crossword puzzle book. That's what I always do! Although that doesn't always beat the boredom.

Depending on your level of fear, you can take a
Tylenol PM or you can try Xanax (I did).

I am terrified of flying. Flying to Guatemala was the first time I'd flown in over 12 years. Someone recommended I take Xanax because it doesn't drug you, make you drunk or loopy. It takes away the anxiety/fear so you can function and relax. It was wonderful. You can call your doctor and tell them you have a fear of flying and have a long flight. They will usually phone you in a small prescription to get you thru.

I'm so excited & happy for you! :)

Do you have good books to read? I can send you a couple if you want!

By the way, for these posts to filter into RLC, you need to put the adoption journal blogger badge into each post! That way they'll feed!

love you and CAN'T WAIT!!! yipee,
Brandi

Hi Christine

Don't worry about flying. I am terrified of it too but God will guide you and hold you as this is part of your life and meant to be. You will be safe.

What an amazing friend to have that is moving in while you are in Ukraine!

Well, it is real now, isn't it?

I'm excited - very, very excited for you.

Those friends who are planning to stay with the kids are saints. You are so lucky to have them!

Wow, I have just a few moments to catch up on a few blogs and I'm absolutely tickled with all this news!! How wonderful. I could almost feel your delight and panic at such a short notice trip. Our prayers will be with you and hope all goes well.

Your hearts are ready and there's no better time than the present.

Christine,
I am thinking about you every day and counting down the days!! I don't know why, but I just loved that boy the minute I saw him and I think I am as excited as you are! I want to mention him on my blog, if you would rather I not, please let me know, or if there is anything you'd rather I not say. His story touched me deeply and I can't think of a happier ending for him than to have a great mom and dad and 10 brothers and sisters!!
